Delrin Hatch Toggles

Delrin is the trade name for polyoxymethylene, an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts that require high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability. This is a perfect description of the characteristics required for the toggles that secure flush hatches.

Our friend Russell Brown is machining up these toggles. They spare you having to make the wooden ones, last longer than the wooden ones, and don't scratch varnish as easily. They just look good, too.

These Delrin hatch toggles are a nice complement to our new carbon fiber eyestraps. Will require 10-24 x 3/4" machine screws to attach to most decks.

The hatch toggles measure 1-1/2" long and 3/4" wide. (38.1mm x 18mm)
