Gudgeon & Pintles Set

Stainless steel set includes:

• 2 gudgeons
• 1 long pintle
• 1 short pintle
• stop tang. 

Pintle tangs will accept a rudder up to 1-1/2" thick.

Pintle diameter is 5/16" (7.9mm).

The gudgeons can be shaped to fit the skeg of a Skerry or the flat transom of a Passagemaker (for example). It is recommended, if you have a flat transom, that you use a bolt and nut to secure the gudgeon whereas a Skerry simply needs four wood screws.

We recommend the following fasteners for boats with a flat transom:
