The Sassafras 12's kit includes all hull parts computer-cut from BS 1088 okoume marine plywood, all holes pre-drilled and frames and bulkheads located. Rails are spanish cedar or fijian mahogany.  The seat is a minicel foam kayak "tractor" seat and Rapid Pulse back band.  Complete epoxy and fiberglass kit included, plus hardware.  The spiral-bound 115-page manual is extravagantly detailed, with every step photographed and/or diagrammed, and includes supply lists for builders. All dimensions throughout the manual are in both metric and standard units.
