Skerry Raid Sailing Component Kit - Lug Rig w/Reef
An enlarged 73-square-foot (compared to the original 62 sq ft, on the Skerry) balanced lug sail, very nicely matched to the Skerry Raid's weight, balance, and style. Balanced lug sails offer self-vanging geometry for better performance offwind. It's also the best layout for hoisting, dousin, and reefing on the water; Sail has [1] reef point, but a second reef point can be sewn in for an additional $95. Kit includes the White dacron sail with 1 reef point, mast, boom, yard, tiller, yoke, centerboard (with pivot pin), mast step assembly, entire rudder assembly and standard Expedition Skerry "Raid" Lug hardware. Line and cordage is sold separately.
