Skerry Sailing Component Kit - Lug Rig w/ Reef

62-square-foot balanced lug sail, very nicely matched to the Skerry's weight, balance, and style.  Balanced lug sails offer self-vanging geometry for better performance offwind.  It's also the best layout for hoisting, dousing, and reefing on the water; sail has one reef.  A thorough discussion of lug rigs, including the Skerry's, may be found here.

Uses the same mast as the stock sprit rig, and the same mast step and partner.  Kit includes dacron sail with one reef, wooden mast, boom, and yard, mast step, tiller, daggerboard, rudder, and rudder hardware.  One row of reef points are now standard in lug rigs.
